In the app, go to Settings → Connect Bank. Plaid handles the secure connection — pick your bank, sign in through Plaid's screen, and your accounts link in about 30 seconds.
No. Plaid uses bank-issued access tokens to read your transactions — your password is entered on Plaid's secure screen and is never shared with us. TetherFree never sees or stores your bank login.
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings → tap your name (Apple ID) → Subscriptions → TetherFree → Cancel Subscription. You'll keep access until the end of the current billing period.
The owner pays one subscription and everyone gets full access — up to 5 members on Family, or up to 10 on Family Plus. The owner invites members with a simple invite code from inside the app. No per-person billing.
Snowball pays off your smallest balance first, so you get quick wins that keep you motivated. Avalanche pays off your highest-APR debt first, which saves the most money mathematically. TetherFree runs both for you so you can see the trade-off and pick what fits.
A built-in export is coming soon. In the meantime, email us at hello@tether-free.app and we'll send you a manual export of your data.
Go to Settings → Delete Account in the app. This is permanent and irreversible — your data is removed from our systems within 30 days (backups may persist up to 90 days).
